JAXVILLE The Skull

The Jaxville 'Skull' was the very first of the Custom Series guitars and yet still remains, today, one of the classics of the Jaxville range. Following an artist's revision after the first one hundred units, the new design now incorporates a ghostly image of the Grim Reaper just above the scratchplate.

It's white scratchplate, pickups and controls, coupled with a maple headstock finish off the look to create a classic design that will be with us for many year's to come.

The Skull's three adjustable single-coil pickups, 5-way selector switch and tone and volume controls provide an unlimited array of tonal colour for even the most discerning of musicians from sparklingly clean to dirty distortion.

Joey 'The Thrash' Morris was one of the founders of what became known as Death Metal. His growling vocals and aggressive, frantic playing became a pioneering style adopted by hundreds of rockers throughout the last three decades. His distinct guitar designs became a thing of legend and are still copied to this day. This guitar is a close imitation of his original guitar, affectionately known as 'The Skull', the original of which was destroyed on stage in 1985.
